Ploting enrollment trends over the last decade highlights how Black enrollment at the districts "premiere" schools does not reflect the overall makeup of the district or even the neighborhood of the school. The District has partnered to be able to make IPS schools attractive to a subset of parents. Three of the five "CFI" schools have reduced the Black percentage by at least ten percentage points, the others have remained stable, as overall district percentage of Black enrollment has increased. The CFI Phenom in High Schools has manifested as the conversion of Shortridge to an International Bacculaureate school. Comparative data will be available in the next update of this document.
